Serigraphy - replacement of cleaning fluids In serigraphy printing on glass, oil-based inks containing lead, cadmium and lithium were formerly used. As screen opener and to clean the frames, ink removers with several highly volatile components were used. Today, glass ink containing glycol ether and acetate is used.
