The study summarises information on the use of the brominated flame retardant Deca-BDE CAS No 1163-19-5 in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and describes suitable alternatives to Deca-BDE. The study has not identified any application of Deca-BDE in EEE for which substitution is not possible, from the scientific or technical point of view.

Til afrensning af trykdug for UV-trykfarver blev der tidligere anvendt Rensevæske nr. 144 fra Randers Kemiske Industri. Produktet inderholder bl.a. ethylacetat (cas 141-78-6 Ethyl acetate Ethylacetat ) og isopropanol, og har MAL-kode 4-1 (1993) og er mærket lokalirriterende (Xi)
Til opgaven anvendes nu et produkt, der indeholder ethanol og isopropanol. Dette produkt har MAL-kode(1993)2-1.
