Jensen Danmark skiftede fra en epoxy/polyester baseret pulvermaling (MAL kode 00-5) til en polyesterbaseret pulvermaling Mal kode 00-1. Malingen anvendes på det samme anlæg, har bedre tekniske egenskaber end den gamle og affaldet kan afleveres som erhvervsaffald. Der er en energimæssig besparelse (lavere temperatur). Til gengæld er den nyere maling dyrere i indkøb.

Brake cleaning
Lorry and van drum brakes are cleaned for repair- and maintenance purposes from mud, dust and sand by a hot water washer. This is a kind of wash stand fitted with a flow heater and a spray gun. The tap water is heated to 95°C and sprayed on the brakes thereby removing the dirt and also heating the brakes so they dry rapidly after cleaning. Thereafter the parts are reassembled.
Usually in garages aerosol cans containing highly volatile organic solvents are applied, having a high risk of fires and explosions as well as leading to inhalation of the solvents by the workers.
The German accident insurance recommends the hot water washers. The jet does not cause scaldings on the skin, because it is a very finely sprayed mist. When asked in Nov. 2007 the company confirmed, that they are still content with the process and that it is still being applied.

Til afrensning af trykdug for UV-trykfarver blev der tidligere anvendt Rensevæske nr. 144 fra Randers Kemiske Industri. Produktet inderholder bl.a. ethylacetat (cas 141-78-6 Ethyl acetate Ethylacetat ) og isopropanol, og har MAL-kode 4-1 (1993) og er mærket lokalirriterende (Xi)
Til opgaven anvendes nu et produkt, der indeholder ethanol og isopropanol. Dette produkt har MAL-kode(1993)2-1.

Replacing benzine with rape oil in connection with cleaning simulation-dolls
Large amount of benzine have been used to remove glue from simulation dolls which is used in connection with educating doctors and nurses.
The glue comes from plaster, venflons and other things which are glued on the dolls.
Instead it is possible to use rape oil which is totally harmless. It takes a little more work but it is possible. When cleaning large amount of glue from the dolls petroleum is used which is still better than benzine.

Cement med reduceret indhold af hexavalent chrom
I Danmark (og EU) er det ikke tilladt at anvende cement med et indehold af vandopløseligt chromat på mere end 2 mg pr. kg tør cement.
Reduktionen sker i praksis ved at tilsætte en opløsning af jern(III)-sulfat til cementen. Herved reduceres den vandopløselige hexavalente chrom til uopløselig trivalent chrom.
Reduktionen af hexavalent chrom i cementen har bevirket et stort fald i tilfælde af chrom-allergi i Danmark.

As screen opener and to clean the frames, ink removers with several highly volatile components were used. Today, glass ink containing glycol ether and acetate is used.
